Ali and her husband Simon moved from Brixton, South London to Bampton, Devon in 2008, after falling in love with the area whilst on holiday.

Ali previously worked as a Clinical Perfusion Scientist in cardiac surgery, at various London hospitals, for 18 years. However, she decided she fancied a new career as well as a new home, and joined the practice in May 2010 as a trainee Dental Nurse. She is currently studying towards her NVQ qualification.

In her spare time she enjoys walking her dogs Marvin and Edith, cooking (especially baking cakes and biscuits!), swimming, jogging, reading, and red wine!
