Meet the Dental Centre staff
Bruce M Pearson BDS LDS RCS (Eng)
Bruce trained in dentistry at The London Hospital Dental School, qualifying in 1978. After working as a principal in General Dental Practice in Loughton, Essex he moved to Tiverton in 1983. He still practices in Tiverton but is also involved with the practice branches at Holmead, Cullompton, Newquay and the dental nurse training organisation. He has been a Vocational Trainer with the South West Dental Vocational Training Scheme since 1994. Bruce developed an interest in orthodontics, formerly holding a post in the specialty at the Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital. More recently he has undergone extensive further training in dental implants.
He is on the Devon Local Dental Committee and Devon Oral Health Advisory Group and former section chairman of the British Dental Association and Devon Orthodontic Study Circle.
Bruce is married to a former nurse who now farms beef, sheep and pigs, and has 2 children, Sarah, a nurse and David, a student. He is a Rotarian and enjoys country pursuits, playing cricket, skiing, walking and reading.
